I’ve been back on the road again this weekend 🚗.

The Peak District swallowed me whole, its beauty, stillness, and the deep conversations that unfolded around meditation and the voice of the child. It was fascinating, thought-provoking, and raw.

If mediators are good at anything, it’s summarising, so here goes:

Living life in a Ukrainian war zone 🌍

It was a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, some more unexpected than others. But as I drove away, I realised that every single one of us had connected in some way.

I heard stories that moved me to tears and others that made me roar with laughter. Over those three days, there was honesty, support, respect, and empathy.

It was a wonderful experience, one that realigned me as a mediator and reminded me why I do what I do. It reignited my passion to make even the smallest difference, supported by a network of like-minded, passionate people who share the same commitment.

When clients come into mediation, they’re not just meeting someone facilitating their situation. They’re stepping into a space held by someone who lives and breathes their work, someone who has spent hours training, reading, exploring, tweaking, and reflecting to ensure every client feels seen, heard, and supported throughout the mediation process.

I feel proud of what I’ve achieved and even prouder to be part of such a positive and inspiring community of mediators.
