MIAM – Mediation Information & Assessment Meeting

Before heading to court, most people must attend a MIAM to determine whether mediation could help resolve matters related to child arrangements or financial disputes following a separation or divorce without the stress and expense of a legal battle. A MIAM is a legal requirement in England and Wales.
